Procurement Transplant Coordinator
Legacy of Life Hawaii is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to serve as a Procurement Transplant Coordinator. PTCs evaluate organ and tissue donor referrals, oversee the clinical management of the donation process, and coordinate the surgical recovery of organs. PTCs also conduct professional education programs as well as develop relationships with health care leaders in an effort to improve donation rates. Position requires rotating 24 hour availability and travel to neighbor islands.
Qualifications: Ideal candidate has minimum two years of procurement coordinator experience and has CPTC or is CPTC eligible. Requires RN, PA, EMT-P or BS in health related field with critical care experience. Must have superior communication skills, attention to detail, and work well in a stressful environment.
